Warm Gospel 65

The melting process is one of transformation, not destruction. Recognizable forms are rendered into altered versions of themselves by outside affectation. The New Mexico heat stains everything in tungsten. Reds cooling into blues, and drying into shades of browns and tans. Interior characteristics hidden by the outside layers bubbling to the surface and recoiling back into itself and so on. A telling of time. A measuring of the severity of outside conditions. Fingerprints transformed and imprinted in the clay.
