“*toHeatedWomb*to” is a meditation. An exploration of internality. Tracks crafted from passing thoughts, reorganized and restructured into a sense of self. Mantras amplified through repetition. Words to live by.

This look inward is explored through the album’s lyrical self-discovery and loose psychedelic-tinged instrumentation, but the structure is built upon a bed of samples, field recordings, and mechanical rhythms. At times, it reminds me of some of the more abstract moments on Gang Gang Dance’s excellent “St. Dymphna” album filtered through the loner fidelity of bedroom pop.

At other times, it’s not as easy to pin down. After all, there’s nothing recognizable as a traditional verse/chorus structure, but rather each movement unfolds more like a memory: seemingly there to remind us of something, but gone before we can grasp it.
